West Coast Media Jobs: With open roles at HuffPost, KGTV, Bay Area News Group & more!
If you’re looking for a job, leave a comment about what you’re looking for on our Spring Gig Seekers Thread. It’s open to everyone; you don’t need to be a subscriber or based on the West Coast to participate.
Check out talented journalists like…
Hanna Merzbach, an Oregon-based independent journalist, writer and fact-checker. “I write news stories and features about housing & homelessness, the uneven effects of climate change, state politics and anything else that piques my interest…I'm currently looking for: consistent writing gigs for university publications; short-term producer gigs on podcasts related to my beats.” (more info)
The Gig Seekers thread is sent out quarterly on the 15th day of January, April, July, and October.
Sorry for the lack of content on this front! It’s been a busy winter/spring teaching, closing a union contract, and dealing with some other work stuff. But I promise this feature will be back soon!
