Hi, all! My name is Alexandria Jacobson. I'm reporter currently based in Chicago with national reporting experience. I'm looking for a full-time role after being laid off from my tech features reporter job in October 2022.

I've been freelancing in the interim, currently with a commercial real estate publication, and have freelanced for about a decade total, with publications like the Chicago Sun-Times, ABA Journal, StreetWise Magazine and the Social Justice News Nexus. I'm most passionate about social justice and investigative reporting, so I'm always looking for roles in those areas, but I also have diverse interests and reporting experiences covering housing, law, tech, consumer affairs, healthcare and education.

I've taught multimedia journalism to prison populations and high schoolers from underserved communities as well, in addition to running publications and communications in higher education institutions.

Hello! I'm an LA-based health journalist,'22 graduate from UC Berkeley Journalism with a Masters in Journalism and Multimedia.
